SCHW - Charles Schwab - Buy
AMTD - TD Ameritrade - Buy
LXK - Lexmark - Buy

American Airlines (9%) - AMR, its parent company, and other airlines found strength in oil’s weakness
PRU - Prudential (5%) - Barron’s recommended it as a good buy
GT - Goodyear Tire (4%) - Macke: I’d sell the rally
SPLS - Staples (2%) - Finerman: I’m not optimistic about their numbers
CCL - Carnival (5%) - Macke: I’d sell
SCRX - Sciele Pharma (59%) - A Japanese drugmaker agreed to buy the company for a 61% premium
RF - Regions Financial (19%) - Said it will obtain all deposits from Integrity Bank of Alpharetta in a state and federal planned transaction

Drops (stocks that slid lower):
GILD - Gilead Sciences (4%) - Adami: I think the dip is a buying opportunity
CHK - Chesapeake Energy (6%) - Najarian: Commodities are falling across the board
BUCY - Bucyrus (11%) - Adami: I think it’s getting interesting
LAZ - Lazard (5%) - Announced plans to sell up to $334 million of stock in the company
EEM - Emerging Markets Fund (3%) - Merrill Lynch downgraded Russia to neutral, citing high inflation and political turbulence
