Gold – Buy
FCX – Freeport McMoRan – Be careful until copper gets a 3-handle

Najarian:
FCX – Freeport McMoRan – Buy

Seymour:
FXA – CurrencyShares Australian Dollar Trust – Buy
FXC – CurrencyShares Canadian Dollar Trust – Buy

Greg Troccoli:
FDX – FedEx – Could go to $80
LVS – Las Vegas Sands – Has upside potential

Mark Schoenebaum, Deutsche Bank analyst:
*Undervalued stocks:
GENZ – Genzyme – If they get through their current FDA issue, it is one of the cheapest stocks in biotech
GILD – Gilead – 3Q numbers will probably beat expectations
AMGN – Amgen – Shares are likely to rise if the USDA approves its bone loss antibody

Pops (stocks that jumped higher):
GE – General Electric (6%) – JP Morgan upgraded it from ‘neutral’ to ‘overweight’ saying the risk to reward ratio is favorable for investors
FCX – Freeport McMoRan (7%) – Najarian: It broke through resistance, it could go higher
AKS – AK Steel (2%) – This and other steel names made gains after China said it may increase imports by as much as 10%
AET – Aetna (4%) – Troccoli: I would only buy on a close above $30
EWZ – Brazil ETF (4%) – Brazil’s GDP grew more than expected in the second quarter, bringing an end to the recession

Drops (stocks that slid lower):
AIG – AIG (25%) – Terranova: This stock just doesn’t make sense to me
MON – Monsanto (6%) – Lowered its guidance and said earnings would likely be below expectations
