Pops (stocks that jumped higher):
CIT – CIT Group (34%) – Finerman: the company is hoping for a buyer to bail them out; don’t touch it
GM – General Motors (4%) – Seymour: this is massive short covering
PLCE – Children’s Place (12%) – Finerman: it’s rallying on last week’s news, which is still good for shareholders
PALM – Palm (8%) – Jon Najarian: not dead but not cool; stay away
WAG – Walgreen (5%) – Macke: WAG has been a long-time dog but it’s looking a little better
CC – Circuit City (3%) – Macke: maybe it isn’t the worst company in the world anymore but it’s certainly not a buy

Drops (stocks that slid lower):
BVF – BioVail (4%) – Jon Najarian: probably not the end of the line as there is a lot of put activity in the stock
V – Visa (8%) – Seymour: interesting that China Life LFC bought a big chunk of the IPO and is also trading at its all-time lows
