V – Visa – Buy – Final Trade

Pops (stocks that jumped higher):
JPM – JP Morgan (3%) – Bernanke assured investors the government doesn’t plan to nationalize Citi and other banks
TBT – ProShares UltraShort Lehman 20 Yr ETF (3%) – US Treasuries fell after a record $32 billion sales of 5-yr notes
GM – General Motors (15%) – CEO Rick Wagner expected to request additional loans
DISCA – Discovery Communications (13%) – Beat on 4Q earnings
DIN – DineEquity (13%) – Finerman: There’s a big short interest in this stock

Drops (stocks that slid lower):
DE – Deere (5%) – Karabell: I think there are a lot of reasons to be positive on this stock longer term
.DJT – Transports (4%) – Najarian: When oil goes up you see a big move to the downside in transportation
ALL – Allstate (6%) – Finerman: Cutting the dividend was the right thing to do, but the rest of the business doesn’t look so hot
FSLR – First Solar (22%) – Predicted 2009 sales will be below estimates
BHP – BHP Billiton (4%) – Analysts believe prices for iron ore may fall as much as 30% due to decline in demand
DWA – DreamWorks (11%) – Missed on 4Q earnings due to lower DVD sales
SJM – JM Smucker (6%) – Forecast 2009 earnings below analysts’ expectations, hurt by the peanut recall even though Jif wasn’t among the tainted products
