XLF – Financial Select Sector SPDR – Sell some
HPQ – Hewlett-Packard – Buy if it gets in the $40s
VLO – Valero – Buy – “Final Trade”

Macke:
USO – United States Oil Fund – Buy with a tight stop, sell if it drops to $89.50
CY – Cypress – Buy

Larry Klatzkin, Jeffries senior gaming analyst:
WYNN – Wynn – Buy for short term
LVS – Las Vegas Sands – Buy for long term

Pops (stocks that jumped higher):
CNQ – Canadian Natural Resources (7%) – Terranova: I think Suncor is the play
PAY – VeriFone (32%) – Najarian: It’s a nice pop for now
TTWO – Take-Two Interactive (6%) – Macke: I’d sell
HANS – Hansen Natural (8%) – Adami: There’s something here, but I don’t know what
SJT – San Juan Basin Royalty (7%) – Terranova: Look elsewhere for a natural gas play
MENT – Mentor Graphics (10%) – Said it expects revenue this year to grow by 4%, to $915 million
CHL – China Mobile (5%) – Speculation that the Chinese government will introduce measures to spur economic growth

Drops (stocks that slid lower):
EBAY – eBay (2%) – Macke: It’s Amazon’s weak little sister
BJ – BJ’s Wholesale Club (7%) – Macke: It could be a buying opportunity
ADI – Analog Devices (9%) – Adami: Stay away
RBS – Royal Bank of Scotland (3%) – Terranova: Don’t touch it; the UK may have a worse housing crisis than the US
NVTL – Novatel Wireless (25%) – Analysts downgraded it from “buy” to “hold” and reduced estimates
